Dental procedures offered in our practice

What is a dental procedure? It can range from a simple cleaning to surgery that corrects oral problems. Sometimes the procedures you may need are obvious; other times you may not realize you have a potential problem. That’s why we spend time with you before and after your visit. First we listen, ask questions, and make sure we are clear about your expectations. Then we explain your options in plain English, and provide treatment plans that suit your time and financial limitations. Many times we recommend a watch and wait approach which saves you time and money.

Preventive maintenance The best defense against gum disease and tooth decay is a good offense. Preventive maintenance encompasses your most important dental procedures, things such as cleaning your teeth, proper tooth brushing, and early identification of periodontal disease.

Oral problems How do cavities start? What’s the impact of missing teeth? We help you with these and other oral issues.

Restorations These procedures include just about anything you can do to a tooth to improve its appearance and health.

Implants Whether you need a crown or full dentures, implants provide a permanent solution. We offer several different implant options depending on your specific oral situation.

Oral surgery Sometimes even the best preventive care can’t eliminate the need for surgery. When it’s necessary, we offer everything from extractions to wisdom tooth removal to gum surgery to implants. And our commitment is to perform these surgeries with as little pain as possible and to assure a quick recovery.

CEREC Solutions Remember when a crown meant at least two visits to your dentist? The first was to take the measurements and create a temporary crown while you waited for the real thing, sometimes a month. Those days are gone with our new CEREC procedure—one visit, beautiful, strong crowns, and no more temporary caps that may come loose. 

Sleep Apnea If you have Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), you know the negative impact it can have on your health and relationships. We offer custom-fitted oral appliances based on first-hand knowledge.

Traditional and Prepless Veneers Thin porcelain shells covering the front part of teeth can work wonders, helping whiten teeth, and cover chips or worn surfaces. We offer both traditional and prepless veneers depending on your needs.
